Galaxy clusters formed within 2 billion years after Big Bang observed mid-merge

Galaxy clusters are massive structures made as a result of several galaxies merging into one massive galaxial feature. The ALMA telescope has just seen one that is mid-merge that happened more than 12 billion years back.
