One of the darkest planets ever observed eats 99% of nearby starlight

A new planet has been spotted spinning fast around a yellow dwarf star in the Leo constellation that is almost entirely black. It is so dark that almost 99 percent of its hosts' starlight is simply absorbed into its dark, hazy atmosphere.
